UCEED 2024 - Last 2 Days To Apply Without Late Fee

Applications for UCEED 2024 (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design) conducted by IIT Bombay have been started and shall close on 31 Oct 2023 (without late fee). This Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions in the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi and IIITDM Jabalpur. UCEED score is also accepted by many other leading institutes for admission in their BDesign programme.

UCEED is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign).

Academic eligibility: The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2023, OR appearing in 2024. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Important Note
i) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as subjects are eligible to apply to all the five participating institutes.
ii) Candidates from any other stream (Science without Maths or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad.
iii) For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, only students with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 can apply. Students from Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur.
iv) Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply to IIT Guwahati. Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are NOT eligible to apply to IIT Guwahati.

UCEED 2024 Examination : 21 Jan 2024

Exam date clash: Please note that UCEED exam date has a clash/overlap with the date of LSAT-India (20 & 21 Jan 2024).

Exam pattern

UCEED is a 3-hour test center-based examination and has two parts : Part-A is computer-based and Part-B contains question-related to sketching that needs to be attempted on the provided sheet. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts in the given time.
